Enabling Media Inc. ("Enabling Media," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website at enablingmedia.com and to any related services, subdomains, forms, and communications we operate.
We are a Canadian business based in Calgary, Alberta. We handle personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where applicable, Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
The short version: We collect the minimum information needed to run our business, respond to inquiries, deliver our services, and improve how the site works. We do not sell your personal information. We use industry-standard tools (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, HubSpot, GoHighLevel) to measure performance and follow up with prospects who choose to reach out to us. You can contact us anytime to access, correct, or delete your information.

1.1 Information you provide directly
When you interact with us through the website, a form, our chat widget, our booking calendar, or email, we may collect:
- Contact details (name, email address, phone number, company)
- Messages and content you send us (email inquiries, chat messages, form submissions, meeting notes)
- Newsletter subscription details, if you opt in to the Aurora CMO newsletter or any other list we operate
- Scheduling information you enter when booking a discovery call (date, time, time zone)

When you visit the site, our servers and third-party tools may automatically collect:

- Business successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets, subject to reasonable notice
5. Cookies, Pixels, and Tracking Technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate, secure, measure, and personalize the experience. Specifically we use:
- Google Analytics 4 — website usage analytics
- Google Ads Conversion Tracking — measuring ad performance and enabling conversion-based bidding
- Google Tag Manager — managing tags served on the site
- Meta Pixel — measuring Meta (Facebook, Instagram) ad performance and building audiences for retargeting
- HubSpot — customer relationship management and marketing automation
- GoHighLevel — customer relationship management, chat widget, and booking

- Client records: for the duration of the engagement and up to 7 years after, to meet contractual, tax, and legal obligations
- Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe
- Website analytics: subject to the default retention period configured in Google Analytics (currently 14 months)
7. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. This includes encrypted connections (TLS/HTTPS), authenticated access controls, two-factor authentication on administrative accounts, and vendors with recognized security certifications (SOC 2, ISO 27001). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work continuously to protect the information you share.

- File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta
9. International Transfers
Some of our service providers operate outside of Canada, primarily in the United States. When personal information is transferred outside Canada, it may be subject to the laws of the receiving country, including lawful access by government authorities. We select vendors who provide appropriate contractual and technical safeguards.
10. Children
Our services are directed at businesses and adult professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. Material changes will be communicated by posting a clear notice on the website or, where appropriate, by email.
